Beyond The Valley 'Laser' Xmas Card Competiton - New extended deadline


We have extended the deadline for our xmas card competiton for another week. The new submission date is on the 25th November
. All the details are below:

Design a laser cut/engraved Christmas card to sell in Beyond the Valley. Have your production costs and material costs covered and keep all the profits.

Brief

The card design can be cut/engraved or a combination of the two. It can be either a formal card design or a small object that captures the essence of a Christmas card – the choice is yours.

Design criteria

The 'card' should be a unique item available to buy singularly or in a pack. Either way, the retail price should not exceed £6. You may use any material that you feel is suitable as long as it is CO2 laser applicable.

Competition submissions

1. You will need to submit something that best illustrates your design concept: this doesn't need to be a laser cut sample, it could be a sketches, images, material samples, storyboards, 3D renderings. etc…

2. We will need a vector file of your design in a format reading for laser cutting/engraving: AI, EPS, DXF, DWG.

Participants must ensure that both the images and vector drawings submitted as artwork for the competition are either free of rights or owned by themselves.

How to Enter

If you wish to submit some additional 3D samples of your work, please send them together with a hard copy of your digital artwork to:
